HOME STAGING is a combination of enhancements that can significantly improve the marketing of a home.  Often times there exists either architectural deficiencies, or negatives associated with a client’s existing furnishings, that detract from a good showing.  Home staging, through the strategic use of appropriate furnishings and/or accessories, can greatly improve a home’s aesthetic impact to a prospective buyer.  A 2006 study by Coldwell Banker tracked 2772 properties and found that on average home staging increased sales prices by 6.3% and decreased time on the market by 50%.

ABOUT US Model Interiors is a full service home furnishings and interior design center. We carry over 150 of the worlds leading fine home furnishings, accessories, art, lighting, and rug manufacturers. We were established in 1990 as a model home design and furnishings firm, catering exclusively to the building industry.  As requests for our interior design services from homeowners continued to increase we added the retail component to our business model, and in 1994 we opened our first retail outlet in a 6,000 sq.ft. space in Newbury Park.
WARRANTIES MODEL INTERIORS/MANUFACTURER NO-CHARGE WARRANTIES
Model Interiors’ product protection:Our commitment warrants that all products we sell to be free of manufacturer defects for one year from date of original purchase, regardless of any lesser manufacturer warranty. Under the guidelines below, and under normal household use, we will service any product that is deemed to be defective during this warranty period.MANUFACTURERS' WARRANTIES: Additionally, all our products are backed by the manufacturer for both workmanship and materials, subject to each manufacturer's stated conditions and limitations. Model Interiors will honor all warranty claims for defective merchandise returned to our premises.  We will assume a one time cost of pick-up and delivery of defective merchandise if brought to our attention within 30 days of the initial delivery, and providing that the product was delivered by Model Interiors.  Any merchandise requiring servicing under a warranty provision for any defects or damages, Model Interiors will at our sole discretion, repair the non-conforming merchandise, exchange it for an exact item, or in the event it is non-repairable and no longer available, offer an in-store credit in exchange for the return of the affected item
PROTECTION PLANS / FABRIC PROTECTION – 5 YEAR PROTECTION PLAN: To the original purchaser, this plan provides the following coverage from; Stains: This soil repellent fabric treatment plan covers stains from any food or beverage normally consumed by humans; mold of mildew stains caused by food or beverage normally consumed by humans; Human of pet bodily fluids.
Accidental Damage: Any accidental rips, cuts, punctures, or burns. LEATHER COMBINATION PROTECTION - 5 YEAR INSURED PROTECTION PLAN To the original purchaser, this plan provides the following protection from; Stains: Any food or beverage normally consumed by humans; mold an mildew or pet bodily fluids; three or less ballpoint pen ink or lipstick marks no more than 6 inches in length. Accidental Damage: Any accidental rips, cuts, punctures or burns.ONE PLAN – 5 YEAR COVERAGE OF ENTIRE FURNITURE PURCHASE To the original purchaser, this plan provides combined protection for fabric, leather, and wood products. Stains–fabric, leather, or wood: This soil repellent fabric treatment plan covers stains from any food or beverage normally consumed by humans; mold of mildew stains caused by food or beverage normally consumed by humans; Human of pet bodily fluids. Accidental Damage - fabric, leather, or wood: Any accidental rips, cuts, punctures or burns. Wood products: Accidental damage to the finish from liquid rings or heat marks; accidental gouges; accidental wood breakage resulting from a specific incident; accidental glass or mirror component breakage on covered items (except crowned or curved glass), which occurred during normal household use. Note: See store for details and costs of individual plans. Please refer to specific reporting requirements that must be followed for any warranty coverage related to the above purchased plans.
DESIGN CONSULTATION SERVICES You get what you pay for. Stores that offer complimentary design services, in general, don’t have much to offer. Our initial consultation fee is minimal, but comprehensive, and will serve as an integral starting point for a cohesive and complete interior design project; from concept to completion.
Our initial consultation fee of $125.00 (up to 25 miles from the store, and an additional $1.00 per mile thereafter) includes the following essential pieces of information for planning, designing, and the budgeting of your project .A comprehensive interview of all involved family members to gather crucial information regarding lifestyle, traffic flow patterns, specialized functional environment areas, style and scale preferences, and possessions of special meaning to be incorporated in the final design. On site measurements of all proposed design areas. Complete set of interior photos. Preparation of a design layout. An in-store design consultation to review the collected information, along with a complete conceptual design and layout; including space planning, suggested major furniture purchases, color coordination, window covering design, and any other necessary design elements discussed during the initial in-home interview.
